PERBEDAAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JIGSAW DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STAD

Abstract

This Reseach has a purpose to compare the result of the study between the students taught by jigsaw and STAD learning model. the reseach is done at SMP 5 Jombang. the sample of the reseach is taken from the result of the study in class VIII B as the subject the data taken from the result of the study by using test instrumen of the learning reseult ( is items ) with observation sheets. data analysis uses t-test and its get t count score as much as 2, 09 in the significant level a 0,05 and got t table as much as 2,00 so, t count > t table so that i can be concluded that the difference between the result of social learning by students taught with jigsaw and STAD leaning model , with mean gain for class VIII B taught with STAD learning method is 2,68 In this case that jigsaw learning is better than the class taught with STAD learning model.
