Abstract


As a new paradigm in the field of human resource management the effectiveness of strategic human resource management is in question. This paper examines an application of strategic management concepts in human resource practices arid their implication in leadership. This also discusses some prerequisite conditions and changes in organization in order to assure new leadership concepts fittingthe new environment.
